As pubs go, the Niwot Tavern truly sets the standard with its great food, comfy atmosphere and friendly people. And I’m kind of glad I don’t live within walking distance, or that it doesn’t have a fireplace and an overstuffed couch.

Don't let the name fool you. The Niwot Tavern is much more than your typical tavern. The prices are right; all less than $15 and many less than $10. You will still find your traditional tavern fare – burgers, fries, fresh beer battered fish, fried mushrooms, jalapeno poppers.
